Bean's Banana Bread

Well, you really must try it. I take absolutely no credit, whatsoever. Today we finally got around to making Danielle Bean's recipe for banana bread and it was delicious! I really like the fact that it has no nuts! Go on over to Danielle's place and try the bread. You'll be pleased.

HA! First of all, THANK YOU for the warm welcome you posted earlier. I am so thrilled to be joining you ladies here in the kitchen!

Now, the funny part: I am, right now, in the middle of typing up a little note about this blog that I'm going to post on Bountiful Blessings, so I clicked over to make sure I had the name and URL correct. The irony? I see that you have just posted about BANANA BREAD, which I was already planning to bake tomorrow for my grandparents, and which I thought I might share here for my first post. You beat me to it! :)

Your loaves are lovely, though, and I'm sure they taste just as good as they look! While I've not yet tried it myself, I've heard great things about Danielle's recipe. (But my grandpa does dearly love pecans in his banana bread!)

At any rate, looks like I'll have to cook up something else for my first entry! ;)

P.S. Is it safe to take your baking as a sign that all is well once again over at your place?

We are HUGE fans of this recipe. I have made it for so many people and have had several ask me in private for the recipe. They ask me in private because they say, "I feel bad ditching Grandma's old recipe, but this is the best!"

We just made a loaf yesterday.
Aslynn and I are a little team. She is the 'dry ingredient girl' and I am the 'wet ingredient girl.'

Anyway, I'm happy to have another lovely food blog to visit!
